Gulzada Dzhumashova, an Associate Professor in the Department of General History and Methods of Teaching History at the Institute of History and Law, has been recognized as the “Best CIS Researcher - 2024,” an award named in honor of Al-Farabi. She received a medal, a certificate, and a first-degree diploma for her achievement.

The title was officially conferred on December 20 by Ruslan Arapbayev, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Osh State University.

Earlier this year, in March, Kazakhstan’s national association “Bobek” launched a competition to highlight researchers’ scientific contributions and the role of CIS countries in advancing education. The competition identified outstanding specialists who made significant contributions to the field.
