Students in grades 9 through 11 at the Navoi School No. 18 in Osh participated in an educational program on drug addiction. The sessions focused on explaining the health risks associated with drug abuse and strategies for prevention.
The events took place on December 11, 12, and 19, led by Amanai Akmatova, the head of the project titled “Fight Against Drug Addiction: Developing Measures to Ensure Public Safety in Kyrgyzstan,” and project expert Dilaram Madaminova. During the program, winners of the “Best Drawing” and “Best Essay” competitions were announced.
The project, overseen by Associate Professor Amanai Akmatova of Osh State University, aims to develop effective methods for preventing, identifying, and treating drug addiction.
Previously, the team conducted awareness campaigns in the Makarenko and Kirov schools in Osh and organized similar training sessions in the Batken region.
