On April 18, Osh State University Clinic officially launched two new departments: Intensive Care and X-ray Endovascular Surgery.

These newly opened units are equipped with an advanced angiography device, which will be used to diagnose patients suffering from heart conditions, strokes, cerebral circulation disorders, leg pain, and swelling. In oncology, the device will assist in assessing the blood supply to tumors.

Angiography is a cutting-edge diagnostic tool designed to examine blood vessels and the vascular systems of the heart and brain. It plays a crucial role in early detection and effective treatment across various medical fields, especially in cardiology, neurosurgery, and oncology.

University officials emphasized that the opening of these departments marks a major step in enhancing the university's clinical facilities and raising the standard of medical education. Medical students will now have more opportunities to strengthen their hands-on skills. The angiography machine was acquired using the clinic's internal funding.

The new departments aim to elevate the quality of healthcare services in the region and ensure timely, effective treatment for patients.
