
On June 10, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan hosted an online seminar where Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Rector of Osh State University, presented the university’s experience in its transition to a fourth-generation university.
He highlighted the university’s major efforts in transformation, including curriculum updates, the adoption of credit-based learning systems, enhancing transparency in educational processes, boosting academic reputation, and conducting research focused on addressing socio-economic challenges.
The presentation also emphasized achievements in integrating education, science, industry, and business, the development of a digital campus environment, expanding the university’s presence in the global educational arena, and participation in international rankings.
Furthermore, the university’s advanced scientific research targeting the socio-economic development of Osh city and the surrounding region was recognized. The seminar also covered topics such as building modern university infrastructure, expanding sports facilities, and providing social support for students. The event concluded with a lively discussion where the rector responded to questions from attendees.
