Regulation on Awarding the Presidential Scholarship to Full-Time Students in Higher Education Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic
According to Presidential Decree No. 174, dated July 2, 2024, "On the Approval of the Regulation on Awarding a Presidential Scholarship to Full-Time Students in Higher Education Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic," the scholarship is intended to support outstanding students who excel academically while actively engaging in scientific research and social initiatives.
The scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance for the 2024-2025 academic year. All higher education institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic, regardless of ownership, are required to compile and submit a list of eligible and deserving students who meet the evaluation criteria outlined in the Decree and confirmed by the Academic Council. The list must be submitted to the Department of Higher, Secondary Vocational, and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic no later than August 30, 2025, along with all required supporting documents.
Students must complete a summary of their achievements using the attached form. The finalized documents must be signed by the head of the higher education institution and submitted for review.
At Osh State University, applications and documents will be accepted until August 26 in room 121 of the main building.
