New Approaches to Teacher Training Discussed
On October 24, the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism at Osh State University discussed the training of future Kyrgyz language and literature teachers through dual education.
The event, titled “The Role and Future of Dual Education in Training Kyrgyz Language and Literature Teachers,” focused on strengthening cooperation between the university and schools, enabling students to gain early professional experience, and applying their knowledge in practice.
Participants also discussed improving students’ teaching internships at schools and providing them with more opportunities to develop their teaching skills.
Associate Professor Baktygul Baitikova presented an eight-week teaching internship programme designed for students. Senior lecturer Asylkan Mamatova gave a presentation on new teaching methods within the 12-year education system.
Following the discussion, a resolution was adopted to develop dual education and improve the professional training of future teachers.
