Our University has successfully completed all planned activities under the Erasmus+ BERNICA project at a high level of quality and professionalism.

Project coordinator Kenesh Zhusupov expressed his appreciation during a meeting with Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov on November 4. He emphasized that Osh State University became the first institution in Central Asia to establish and launch a master’s degree program in Dietetics, marking an important milestone in the region’s higher education system.

Mr. Zhusupov also proposed preparing a new initiative to begin the second phase of the BERNICA project, further developing the achievements of the first stage.

The visit coincided with the international scientific conference “Integration of Dietetics into Medical Education in Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities,” held at the Faculty of International Medicine. The conference gathered experts and scholars from Kyrgyzstan, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Austria, and Uzbekistan, who shared their research findings and exchanged experiences. All participants were awarded certificates from Osh State University.

Osh State University continues to implement several Erasmus+ projects, including TUTORIAL, DERECKA, HARMONEE, BERNICA, DEFA, EPCA, PAWER, Green KG, and KyrMEDU, aiming to advance educational innovation and the integration of modern technologies into academic programs.
