The seminar series conducted under the ERASMUS+ DEFA project, “Development of Financial Autonomy of Universities in Kyrgyzstan,” concluded on November 5.
The final webinar was co-hosted by Osh State University and the International Ala-Too University. During the event, speakers discussed financial management practices and approaches to commercialization in higher education institutions.
Director of the Osh State University Medical Clinic, Jazgul Imetova, presented the successful experience of the university in commercializing medical services. Rustem Umarov from the International Ala-Too University shared insights on the university’s ongoing digital transformation and its impact on financial operations.
The webinar brought together members of the DEFA project working group from Osh State University and finance representatives from more than 40 universities across Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and strengthening cooperation within the academic community.
