Scientists from Shihezi University in China, Dr. Mao Xu and Dr. Wu Chao, have expressed interest in developing joint scientific projects with Osh State University in the fields of agricultural machinery automation, robotics, and the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
The researchers arrived at Osh State University on November 6 for a working visit. Their program began with a tour of the university’s “Next Generation Hub” innovation center, where they delivered a presentation to faculty members on advanced technological solutions and shared the results of their recent research.
During the visit, the guests also met with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ruslan Arapbaev and Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov. The parties discussed opportunities for establishing scientific cooperation, conducting joint research, and launching trilateral projects involving Huibo Robotics, a strategic Chinese partner of the "Next Generation Hub."
In addition, the researchers are scheduled to visit the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty of Osh State University and observe rice production technologies in the Uzgen district.
Osh State University continues to expand its international scientific partnerships and enhance cooperation with global research institutions.
