China: Delegation of Osh State University Participates in the Anniversary Meeting of Nanjing University of Technology
A delegation of Osh State University headed by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, who is currently on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, took part in the international conference dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Nanjing University of Technology on November 8.
The event was held under the theme “Integration of Nanjing University of Technology and the City of Nanjing.” The conference brought together university presidents from various countries, distinguished scholars, and leaders of major industrial corporations.
During the conference, Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov delivered a presentation in which he highlighted the university’s achievements in recent years, outlined key directions of international cooperation, and discussed ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education. He also emphasized Osh State University’s close partnerships with several leading universities in China, academic exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.
Participants discussed opportunities for strengthening the integration of education and industry, exploring new avenues for technological development, and supporting the innovative potential of youth.
In the second half of the day, the delegation visited the “Kangni” factory, one of the world’s leading enterprises in electronics and automation. The guests were introduced to the production of doors for high-speed trains and metro systems, as well as components for modern electric vehicles.
Following the visit, both sides exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation, implementing joint research projects, and organizing internships for students and faculty.
