Osh State University, State Financial Holding, and Eldik Bank Open Joint-Stock Companies have signed a trilateral cooperation agreement aimed at completing the construction of the Osh State University Medical Center.
Under the agreement, State Financial Holding will act as a guarantor for Osh State University. This partnership will ensure the timely completion of the “Seven-Storey Clinic” project, modernization of the clinic’s infrastructure, and provision of advanced medical equipment.
Osh State University is constructing the Medical Center at 157 Kurmanzhan Datka Street in Osh city as part of the “Seven-Storey Clinic” initiative. The facility will cover a total area of 20,080 square meters on a 2.08-hectare site. The land plot was allocated to the university by a Presidential Decree dated April 13, 2022.
The main objective of the project is to create optimal conditions for providing high-quality medical services to the population. It represents a large-scale social initiative of national and economic significance, aimed at developing the healthcare sector, strengthening the material and technical base, modernizing medical infrastructure, and introducing a new financial model for public healthcare institutions.
The Multidisciplinary Medical Center under construction holds particular importance for the southern region of Kyrgyzstan. It will expand access to modern and high-quality medical care and serve as a state-of-the-art training and research base for medical students. The facility will also help reduce the workload on existing healthcare institutions and enhance the efficiency of the regional healthcare system.
Upon completion, the Osh State University Medical Center will operate as a multidisciplinary clinic, serving both as a treatment and educational facility.
