A Seminar for University Trade Unions Was Held at Our University
A seminar on “The role of trade unions in the activities of educational organizations: rights and obligations” was held for the chairpersons of primary trade union organizations of higher educational institutions and district educational institutions in Osh.
Today, November 26, a seminar on “The role of trade unions in the activities of educational organizations: rights and obligations” was held at Osh State University.
The event was opened by the chairman of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, Salamat Boyonov, and the vice-rector for external relations at Osh State University, Kursantbek Attokurov, who noted the importance of the seminar.
The seminar was attended by staff of the Central Committee, as well as heads, chairpersons, and chairpersons of trade union organizations of higher education institutions and district educational institutions. They were provided with information on labor rights, labor legislation, the effective organization of primary trade union organizations, collective agreements, and regulatory legal acts governing labor relations. In addition, issues of remuneration and women's rights were discussed.
At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates of honor.
