University Student Team Wins Volleyball Tournament
On December 19, a volleyball tournament was held in the city of Manas, where the student team of Osh State University claimed the championship title.
The tournament was dedicated to the cherished memory of Kantoro Toktomamatov, a prominent scholar and the first rector of K.Sh. Toktomamatov International University. Six teams from higher education institutions in Osh, Manas, and Batken took part in the competition.
In the final match, the Osh State University team defeated the team of K.Sh. Toktomamatov International University with a confident score of 2:0, securing the main prize of the tournament.
The team was coached by Tayirbek uulu Erlan, Senior Lecturer of Interfaculty Department of Physical Education No. 2.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the winning teams and the best players were awarded cups, medals, valuable gifts, and cash prizes.
