The second round of the Kyrgyz language Olympiad was held
The second round of the Kyrgyz language Olympiad was held among first-year students. The event was organized by the Department of Kyrgyz Language of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication.
The Olympiad was conducted at two levels – advanced and beginner. Students who had taken top places in the first round held at faculties and institutes participated. A total of 52 students competed: 36 at the advanced level and 16 at the beginner level. The participants’ knowledge was evaluated by a special committee, and the winners were determined as follows:
Advanced level:
1st place – Aigerim Mukamzhanova
2nd place – Saikal Kalykova
3rd place – Muslima Zheenbekova
4th place – Ainazik Zhyrgalbekova
Beginner level:
1st place – Sora Imankulova
2nd place – Muhammed Tokhtasinov
3rd place – Mukhlisa Akhmadzhanova
4th place – Sabina Rakhmanzhonova
The winners were awarded diplomas. According to the organizers, such Olympiads aim to improve students’ proficiency in the state language, increase their interest in the language, and strengthen their professional training. Students who took leading places received tickets to the next stage.
