Osh State University Special Status Presented in Osh
On May 14, a scientific-practical training was held in Osh, where representatives of higher education institutions were introduced to Osh State University’s priority projects in science, education, and innovation under its special status.
Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov highlighted the importance of the university’s special status for the development of the national higher education system, including academic mobility programs, international partnerships, digital education development, and its strategy to become an international education center.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation, Elsevier Vice President Marat Fathullin, Lan Publishing Director Aleksandr Nikiforov, as well as university leaders, lecturers, and researchers.
Speakers discussed modern “fourth-generation universities” and the role of digital libraries, electronic resources, and academic content in improving global rankings. The event aimed to strengthen international cooperation and increase competitiveness in higher education. Participants also familiarized themselves with Osh State University’s infrastructure.
