OshSU Discusses Trends in Philology and Pedagogy
On September 22, the Faculty of Russian Philology held an international scientific and practical conference titled “Modern Trends in the Development of Contemporary Philological and Pedagogical Sciences,” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the late Associate Professor Kalmamat Abdiev.
The conference addressed current issues in linguistics, literary studies, and methods of language teaching. Participants examined challenges in philology and pedagogy from a comparative perspective and exchanged views on future areas of academic research.
The conference brought together OshSU scholars and young researchers, as well as representatives of B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, the Kyzyl-Kiya Humanities and Pedagogical Institute, and the Faculty of Philology of Fergana State University.
The scientific and practical conference was organized by the Interfaculty Department of Practical Russian Language of the Faculty of Russian Philology. It aimed to facilitate experience sharing among scholars, young researchers, and specialists, strengthen academic cooperation, and discuss current areas of philological and pedagogical research.
