Cooperation with the University of Missouri will be intensified
Professor Mary Stegmeier, Vice Rector for International Programs and Director of the International Center at the University of Missouri, led a team that met with Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, Rector of Osh State University.
The discussion focused on the University of Missouri's and Osh State University's collaboration. Osh State University's present plans were revealed by the university's president. During the meeting, the parties addressed growing cooperation in the areas of Osh State University's start-up business incubator, medical research projects, research, education, academic mobility, and dual degrees.
The visitors learned about Osh State University's museum and visited its faculties.
On January 13, 2022, the University of Missouri and Osh State University signed a memorandum of understanding.
In 1839, the University of Missouri was established. Approximately 30,000 students study in 270 different fields. There are 14,400 international students on campus.
