In Osh, the artist Umut Teshebaev's personal exhibition "Color and Shadow" has opened. Kamchybek Dosmatov, head of the city of Osh mayor's office, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, rector of Osh State University, representatives of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the creative intelligentsia all attended the opening ceremony.
46-year-old Umut Teshebaev is from the village of Uch-Korgon in the Batken region's Kadamzhai district. After high school, he enrolled in Osh State University's Faculty of Arts, where he majored in Painting, Drawing, and Labor. He began his career as a teacher at the same faculty after graduating in 1998. He helped numerous pupils discover their artistic potential during his 24 years of teaching. He is a member of the Kyrgyz Republic's Union of Artists and holds a master's degree in art education.
Throughout the years, U. Teshebaev has continued to create paintings in a variety of genres, including landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. He has been a regular participant in painting exhibitions and competitions on numerous topics linked to human rights and social issues since he was a child.
The exhibition's title, "Color and Shadow," demonstrates the author's expertise of conveying lighting characteristics through color and form. The air, as well as the weather's quirks, may be felt in his landscapes. Sun-drenched still lifes are beautiful because they are drenched in color. The city landscapes, in which Osh inhabitants can recognize their homes, residences, and streets, stand out among the paintings.
People will remember Osh like such because of his ingenuity. The author's pictures reveal a thorough understanding of psychology and a desire to represent a person's full life experience. Patriotism, love and respect for people, and the desire to share the beauty he has witnessed pervade the artist's entire life and perspective of the world in his works.
