Presentation of Shukhrat Orif’s Book “44 Autumns” Held at OshSU
On April 21, Osh State University hosted the presentation of the Kyrgyz-translated book “44 Autumns” by Uzbek poet Shukhrat Orif.
The event was attended by the Secretary General of TURKSOY, Sultan Raev, representatives of writers’ unions, academics, creative intellectuals, and students.
Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov highlighted that cultural and educational cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan continues to develop through language and culture centers operating in both countries.
During the meeting, Shukhrat Orif spoke with readers about his creative work, views on poetry, and the ideas behind his new book.
