The new membership of the OshSU Board of Trustees was approved
On May 3, 2023, a meeting of the OshSU Board of Trustees was conducted. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 243 dated July 18, 2022, five leading universities in the country were given a special status, among which is Osh State University. The academic, financial, economic, and organizational freedom is granted to these universities.
In addition, the Osh State Law Institute, the Osh City Clinic, Professional Lyceum No. 12, and the southern departments of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic were transferred to Osh State University in order to integrate educational institutions.
The Osh State University Charter was modified in this way. The updated version of the Charter has been registered legally. By the decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1009/1 dated March 16, 2023, the Board of Trustees membership of the university was updated and approved.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Osh branch of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Baltagul Nurunbetov was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and the Associate Professor, Head of the Planning and Financial Department of the university, Ph.D Abdymanap Abdykerimov was elected Secretary.
The Osh State University President Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov wished the new membership of the Board of Trustees success in their work and expressed confidence that the board would make a significant contribution to the transformation of Osh State University into the new model «University 4.0».
