OshSU hosts international scientific symposium

“The Storyteller’s Text in Terms of Time and Space” international scientific symposium is held at OshSU as part of the VII World Epos Festival in Osh City.

The international scientific symposium is dedicated to the 95 anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov and the 125 anniversary of Muhtar Auezov. Scientists, researchers, and storytellers from 23 countries like France, Sweden, Japan, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Yakutia, Tyva, Bashkortostan, and Kalmykia participate at the event.

Deputy Ministry of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy Kayrat Imanaliev, vice-rector for scientific affairs of OshSU Ruslan Arapbaev, and the university academic staff are taking part at the symposium.

At the event, Russian scientist, Doctor of Philology Professor Vladimir Klyaus was awarded with the title “Honored Professor of OshSU”.

“The Storyteller’s Text in Terms of Time and Space" international and scientific symposium lasts for 2 days.
