Osh State University hosted the poetic collection presentation of the national poet Kozhogeldi Kultegin.

Colleagues of the poet, representatives of the creative circles of the city and the region, lecturers and students, and poetry lovers took part at the event.

At the poetic meeting, Zhyldyz Artykova, OshSU Vice-Rector for the student affairs delivered a welcoming speech.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Satkanbay Momunaliev, Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism Medergul Taabaldiyeva made thematic reports on the poet's creative activity.

Students of the creative center "Zhiger" presented dramatizations based on the poet`s work, the dance group "Aruuke", the folklore ensemble "Saltanat" performed in front of the audience.

People's poet of the Kyrgyz Republic Kozhogeldi Kultegin was awarded with the title "Honored Worker of Osh State University".

The poet handed over his collected books in 5 volumes to the Osh State University library.
