OshSU master student is participating in the World Athletics Championships
Two Kyrgyz runners are participating in the World Athletics Championships. One of them is Gulshanoy Satarova, a master student at the Faculty of Physical Education of OshSU.
The World Championship will begin on August 19 in Budapest, Hungary.
Gulshanoy Satarova has been an athlete for 20 years. She is the first and only Kyrgyz athlete to be named an international master of sports in women's athletics. She is also a two-time Asian champion, an international tournament winner, and a silver medalist at the Asian Games. Gulshanoy won two gold medals in the 800 and 1500 meters at the athletics competition held in Malaysia.
Gulshanoy Satarova is among 15 athletes of Kyrgyzstan preparing for the Olympics.
