Rector of the Baltic State Technical University is at OshSU

A delegation led by Konstantin Ivanov, the Rector of the Baltic State Technical University "Voenmeh" named after D. F. Ustinov visited Osh State University. The guests met with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Nurlan Omurov, and the Vice-Rector for External Relations, Kursantbek Attokurov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed further collaboration between the two universities, academic mobility for students and faculty, and various aspects of education. If the project is realized, students will study for two years at OshSU and two years at the Baltic State Technical University as part of a 2+2 program and will receive diplomas from both universities.

"Today, we collaborate with Osh State University in two fields: business informatics and linguistics. In the context of our cooperation, we aim to enhance the academic mobility of students. We would like OshSU students to visit our university located in St. Petersburg and get acquainted with information technologies," said Rector Konstantin Ivanov.

Earlier, the Rector of OshSU, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, signed a cooperation agreement with the Baltic State Technical University during his visit to St. Petersburg on October 12, 2021. On December 14, 2022, Oleg Kireev, the Director of the Project Management Center of Russian Educational Consortia at the Baltic State Technical University visited OshSU.
