The mini-football team representing Osh State University, known as “University,” has successfully maintained its top position in the Super League standings following the second round. They secured a victory against the “Alai” team with a score of 5:2 on January 11th, and Yuldashbay Salimbaev was acknowledged as the standout player of the match.
With 25 points, “University” currently holds the leading position in the Super League. On January 13th, the team is set to compete against the “Naryn” team in the Naryn region.
In previous matches, “University” demonstrated its prowess by defeating “Zarya” with a score of 5:1 and overcoming “Farvater-Aman” with a score of 6:3. The team, consisting of 22 players, welcomed new additions in the second round, including Marlen Zholdubaev, Muhammad Askarbekov, Ilyas Chotbaev, Dennisbek Amandyk uulu, Islombek Kudayberdiev, and Daniel Enrique from Brazil. Notably, the team comprises both faculty members and students from OshSU.
It’s noteworthy that the Osh State University “University” team holds a unique position as the sole university representative in the country's sporting history. Their inaugural participation in the Super League took place in 2022.
