Bilateral Cooperation between Xinjiang Pedagogical University and Osh State University
A delegation led by Wang Zhiyun, the Vice-Rector of Xinjiang Pedagogical University, visited Osh State University. The guests met with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Nurlan Omurov, the Vice-Rector for External Relations, Kursantbek Attokurov, and the lecturers and students of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty.
During the meeting, issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov thanked Wang Zhiyun for organizing a Chinese language teacher training course in Osh. He invited the leadership of Xinjiang Pedagogical University to participate in the celebration of Osh State University’s 85th anniversary in April.
Mr. Wang Zhiyun noted that teaching Chinese as a foreign language at a high level in other countries, organizing student mobility and faculty internships, as well as developing inter-faculty cooperation in the scientific field, are the main priorities of Xinjiang Pedagogical University. The guests expressed their readiness to collaborate closely with Osh State University in these areas.
Xinjiang Pedagogical University is one of the main partners of Osh State University in China. Since 2013, the two universities have collaborated in the fields academic mobility, organizing scientific visits, internships, professional development courses, exchange of educational programs, and implementation of joint research projects.
