The External Relations Department at Osh State University, housed within the central library, has undergone a comprehensive renovation and is now operational. Previously, specialists responsible for visa processing, certificate issuance, and academic mobility were dispersed throughout the institution; now they are centralized in one location.
The revamped department boasts modern equipment, showcasing OshSU’s own products, and features information resources highlighting the institution’s international connections. Students can now conveniently access a range of related services through this department.
With a staff of nine, the department offers multilingual support in Kyrgyz, Russian, English, Chinese, and Spanish, providing students with timely updates on international cooperation.
Vice-Rector for External Relations, Kursantbek Attokurov, emphasized the institution’s commitment to professionalism and adherence to international standards. “With over 300 agreements signed with universities across 34 countries, the department plays a pivotal role in overseeing Osh State University’s international relations efforts” said Kursantbek Attokurov.
