Osh State University Hosts Educational Event on Family Values

An educational event titled “Am I Ready to Start a Family?” was organized, focusing on family values.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector Nurzhamal Mapaeva, faculty members led by Dean Zhenish Moidunov, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, experts, students, and guests.

Expert speakers included Associate Professor Zyldyz Aitbaeva from the Faculty of Law, Asylbek Abduganiev, Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Humanitarian Disciplines at the Faculty of Theology, obstetrician-gynecologist Zhanylai Madakimova from the Osh Regional Center for Human Reproduction, and Associate Professor Zina Jooshbekovalar from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, providing guidance on preparing young people for marriage.

The event featured a video presentation, discussions, and skits addressing the theme.

Organized by the Department of Philosophy and Political Science at the Faculty of Arts, the educational activities aimed to help students comprehend parental responsibilities, evaluate family values, understand the impact of upbringing and community on parenthood, and offer insights into parental rights, duties, and responsibilities.
