Open Competition Announced for Presidential Scholarship Among University Students
An open competition has been announced for the Presidential scholarship of Kyrgyzstan, aimed at supporting talented university students. This follows the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, “On the approval of the Regulation on awarding the Presidential scholarship to full-time students of higher education institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic,” issued on July 2, 2024, under No. 174. The competition seeks to evaluate students’ creative works and initiatives, in line with Article 71 of the Kyrgyz Constitution.
Universities across the country, both public and private, are required to submit a list of candidates who meet the assessment criteria. These submissions, including full documentation and the approval of the Academic Council, must be sent to the Department of Higher, Secondary Vocational, and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science by August 30, 2024.
