OshSU instructors visited the Barcelona Academy
Instructors from the Department of Physical Education at Osh State University visited the Barcelona Academy in Jalal-Abad. During their visit, they explored the academy’s facilities, learned about the training of young football players, and observed the selection process.
According to the academy’s director, Tilek Naamatbekov, OshSU instructors were among the first from universities to visit the academy. He highlighted the university's role in promoting sports, particularly football.
Spanish coach Oriol Font conducted a seminar on “Training Adolescents and Refereeing in Football”, where he emphasized the importance of players developing a passion for their team and working cohesively.
Font also stressed the need to teach young athletes essential skills such as proper running techniques, ball control, and ball kicking fundamentals.
