OshSU Student Represents Kyrgyzstan at WorldSkills World Championship

Nargiza Zholdoshbay kyzy, a student at the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University, received a special medal at the WorldSkills world championship, held from September 11-14 in Lyon, France.

This prestigious competition brought together participants from 70 countries, competing across 62 professions. Nargiza achieved 20th place in the “Fashion Technology” category, making her the first representative from Kyrgyzstan in this field.

WorldSkills International is a global non-profit organization that aims to enhance the quality and status of vocational training and skills through international competitions, while promoting various professions.

Nargiza had previously been recognized as one of the top 20 students at Osh State University based on her academic performance during the 2022-2023 academic year. She also secured first place in the national round for “Fashion Technology” held in Bishkek.
