Academic mobility: OshSU students study medicine in Turkey

Four medical students from Osh State University – Ermek Kapashev, Burulai Tursunkulova, Asylzat Bakytbek kyzy, and Ariet Kudaybakov – are currently studying at Pamukkale University in Turkey as part of the academic mobility program for the fall semester.

They met with Pamukkale University’s rector, Ahmet Kutluhan, and presented him with kalpak, the Kyrgyz national hat, and souvenirs on behalf of OshSU’s rector, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov. Kutluhan emphasized the importance of medical education and encouraged the students to pursue advanced studies in the field.

Ermek Kapashev and Asylzat Bakytbek kyzy expressed their admiration for Pamukkale University, highlighting the excellent facilities provided by the medical faculty for both learning and relaxation. They also thanked the Osh State University Ranking Department Inspector Dr. Ainura Kulnazarova for this opportunity.

Each year, more OshSU students participate in this exchange program. Last year, about 30 students studied at Pamukkale University last year, and this year, four medical students and 26 theology students are participating in the exchange programme.
