OshSU Hosts Conference on Terminology Issues in Kyrgyz Legislation
A scientific conference titled “Challenges of Terminology in the Legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic” is taking place at Osh State University.
The event has brought together the Chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of Kyrgyzstan, Melis Kazakbaevich Murataliev, along with regional and city officials, scholars, experts, and university students from Osh.
Various presentations and discussions focused on issues related to translating terms and their application across different sectors of public and state affairs. OshSU’s Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Work, Mastura Sharipova, briefed attendees on the university’s initiatives to promote and broaden the use of the state language.
In recognition of its contributions, Melis Murataliev awarded Osh State University the “Dank” badge on behalf of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy.
A resolution will be adopted following the discussions.
