Taasilkan Dzhumabayeva, the head of the Department of General, Clinical Biochemistry, and Pathophysiology at the Medical Faculty of Osh State University, participated in the UNESCO-APEID program’s international forum titled “The Future of Youth and Entrepreneurship in Education.”
The event, held from October 10 to 13 at Alfraganus University in Tashkent, focused on integrating entrepreneurial concepts into education. Over 200 experts, including representatives from higher education institutions, entrepreneurs, and international organizations from 34 countries, took part in the forum.
Dzhumabayeva shared that Osh State University signed a cooperation agreement with Samarkand State University during the visit. Discussions with the Institute of Biochemistry were also productive, resulting in plans for joint scientific research, academic exchanges, and guest lectures.
“A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between Osh State University and Alfraganus University during the forum,” said Dzhumabayeva. Following the forum, a team from Osh State University, including senior lecturers Nurila Tashmatova, Roza Zharkynbaeva, and lecturer Imankul Myrzabaev, participated in a “Food Safety” conference in Samarkand on October 14-15, where Dzhumabayeva delivered a speech at the plenary session. Future collaborations with the educational institutions involved are planned.
The forum aimed to explore strategies for developing entrepreneurial skills among young people.
