Osh State University hosted educational events on drug addiction at schools in Batken. Associate Professors Amanai Akmatova from the Institute of History and Law and Dilaram Madaminova from the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication led training sessions for students in five Batken schools, focusing on drug addiction awareness.
This initiative is part of the project “Combating Drug Addiction: Developing Public Safety Measures in Kyrgyzstan.” The project involves social educators and Youth Inspectorate staff conducting outreach efforts to promote preventive measures.
Under the guidance of Associate Professor Amanai Akmatova, this project aims to create effective strategies for the prevention, detection, and treatment of drug addiction through scientific research.
