On November 29, the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications is hosting the international student scientific and practical conference titled “Contemporary Issues in Turkic Languages and Literatures.” The event brings together students and their academic supervisors from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan to honor the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast.

Among the attendees are the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Osh and representatives from the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature.

The forum provides a platform for discussing a diverse array of topics, including the history, current state, and future development of Turkic languages and literatures within the context of globalization.

The conference is being conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person participation. Its primary goal is to encourage student research, foster regional collaboration, and enhance academic engagement among young scholars.
