Sydyk Smadiyarov, an associate professor at Osh State University’s Institute of History and Law, has been awarded the jubilee medal by the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of West Bohemia. The medal was presented by Miroslav Lovich, the rector of the university, in recognition of Smadiyarov’s significant contributions to fostering scientific and educational collaboration between the two institutions.
As a scholar, Smadiyarov focuses his research on the structure of Kyrgyz statehood.
Currently, he, along with his colleagues Sabyr Arstanov and Samara Osmonova, is visiting the University of West Bohemia as part of an academic mobility program. During their stay, they are delivering guest lectures and gathering data for their ongoing research.
Osh State University has maintained academic mobility cooperation with the University of West Bohemia since 2018, facilitating student and faculty exchanges and joint research initiatives.
