Osh State University Takes Initiative to Address Urban Challenges
Osh Mayor Bakytbek Zhetigenov recently met with faculty members from Osh State University to discuss pressing urban issues.
The meeting focused on strategies to reduce traffic congestion, prevent emergencies, enhance urban planning, and address social concerns. Mayor Zhetigenov, alongside his deputies and department heads, emphasized the importance of tackling these challenges through scientific research and actively sought proposals from the university’s faculty.
Plans are underway to form dedicated working groups to develop and refine solutions based on these proposals. The initiative aims to foster close collaboration between Osh State University, the city administration, and municipal organizations, ultimately creating a systematic and comprehensive approach to resolving urban issues.
