Aicholpon Turdalieva and Aida Alizhan, both members of the Osh State University women’s volleyball club, received the prestigious title of “Master of Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic” on December 10. The award was presented during the opening ceremony of the President’s Cup organized by the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
Aicholpon Turdalieva, a second-year student at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies, plays for the Kyrgyzstan women’s under-20 national volleyball team. Aida Alizhan, her teammate and a third-year student at the Industrial and Pedagogical College, represents Kyrgyzstan’s adult national volleyball team.
Established in 2020, the OshSU women’s volleyball club has achieved significant success, becoming a three-time champion of Kyrgyzstan and producing over ten Masters of Sports within just four years.
