Students Took Part in Citywide Clean-Up

On March 1, a three-month city cleaning campaign kicked off in Osh. Students from various institutes, faculties, and colleges of Osh State University actively participated in the initiative.

As part of the effort, they whitewashed trees, tidied up surrounding areas, and cleared sidewalks and street ditches of litter. Through their involvement, young people aim to inspire city residents to maintain cleanliness.

Launched by the Osh City Hall, the campaign will run for three months, focusing on cleaning, whitewashing, and painting streets and cleaning public spaces. A prize fund of one million soms has been allocated, with awards set to recognize the best street, municipal enterprise, social institution, apartment building, and private business contributing to the city’s beautification.
