A guest lecture titled “The Turkic World and Great Powers” took place at the Institute of Oriental Studies of Osh State University. The lecture was delivered by Arslan Kapai uulu, a historian, journalist, publicist, writer, and advisor to the President.
Held in an online format, the event brought together students, master’s and doctoral candidates, as well as faculty members.
The institute’s director, Joldoshbek Botonoev, thanked the speaker and emphasized that such guest lectures are regularly conducted.
Arslan Kapai uulu, a Master’s degree graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, has previously worked as a reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (“Azattyk”) and as a producer for the BBC Kyrgyz Service.
