Professor Abdurasulov gave a presentation on the livestock industry of Kyrgyzstan in Russia

Abdugany Abdurasulov, head of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agrarian Technologies, participated in the conference “Challenges of Cooperation in the Sphere of Science and Education in Modern Conditions.”

The conference took place on February 27-28 at Kostroma State Agricultural Academy in Russia. During the event, Abdurasulov delivered a presentation on the current state of Kyrgyzstan’s livestock industry and veterinary services, as well as a lecture for students. He also highlighted Osh State University’s contributions to veterinary medicine.

As part of the visit, discussions were held regarding an academic mobility program with Kostroma State Agricultural Academy. Additionally, the improvement of livestock farming in Kyrgyzstan was explored, including the integration of the Kostroma breed into the Ala-Too cattle gene pool. Agreements were also made to collaborate on scientific projects related to innovative feeding and processing technologies in beekeeping and livestock farming.
