Osh State University Leadership Meets with Football Team Ahead of New Season
On March 3, vice-rectors of Osh State University, Kursantbek Attokurov and Ularbek Moldoyarov, along with the vice president of the Osh State University football club, Mirlanbek Ubaidullaev, held a meeting with the university’s football players in anticipation of the upcoming season.
During the gathering, club director Aibek Sulaimanov provided a summary of the previous season’s performance. He noted that the Osh State University team secured seventh place among 10 teams in the 2024 Kyrgyz Premier League and demonstrated a strong showing in the Kyrgyz Cup, advancing to the semifinals.
As part of their preseason preparations, the team conducted training sessions in Issyk-Kul and Tashkent. The first match of the new season is scheduled for March 4, with Osh State University set to face Dordoi.
This year, a total of 14 teams will compete for the league championship.
