Discussion on Educational Staff Working Conditions at Osh State University
On March 18, Chairman of the Central Committee Rustam Nurmatov and Chief Inspector of the Committee for Law and Labor Protection Bedil Kadyrkulov visited Osh State University.
During their meeting with Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, they discussed the collaboration between the university administration and the trade union as social partners. It was emphasized that continued support would be provided for joint initiatives.
Rustam Nurmatov also met with trade union representatives from Osh region and Osh city at the university, where he shared insights on the newly adopted “Labor Code.” Additionally, he addressed efforts to improve social and legal protections for educators, enhance working conditions, and organize summer vacations for teaching staff.
A Collective Agreement exists between the university’s trade union and the rectorate, covering key areas such as labor rights, health and legal protections, employee recreation, and sports support.
