In the village of Mady, located in the Kara-Suu district, Osh State University’s Consulting Center for the Preservation of Mountain Ecosystems and Green Innovations has launched an innovative nursery project. A walnut grove is being established on a 3.5-hectare area.

On April 5, a seedling planting event was held with the participation of university leadership, including Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elzar Esharov and Trade Union Chairman Absamat Sattarov. During the event, 400 fast-growing walnut seedlings were planted.

This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with Osh Forestry and a private entrepreneur, based on a memorandum of understanding previously signed with Osh State University. The partners have agreed to jointly implement the activities outlined in the memorandum.
