On June 13, Osh State University held its annual “Results of the Year” ceremony, recognizing achievements in cultural, organizational, and extracurricular activities for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov addressed the audience, congratulating the students and awarding 5,000 soms and certificates for the “Scholarship of the Academic Council” to 27 outstanding students selected from various faculties and colleges based on established criteria.
“This academic year has been truly historic for our university, marked by significant achievements and milestones,” said the rector. “We ranked 260th among 984 top universities in Asia according to the prestigious QS ranking and placed among the top 13 universities out of 65 in Central Asia. This success is a collective result of your commitment, perseverance, and dedication to excellence. We are evolving into a 4th-generation university.”
The event also honored faculty and staff who made notable contributions to the university's cultural and organizational life. They received letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, as well as certificates of recognition from the Presidential Representative Office in the Osh region, Osh City Hall, and Osh State University.
Additionally, student curators, volunteers, and other active participants were acknowledged with letters of gratitude from the university. Special recognition was given to contributors of the “Ala-Too Spring” festival, the “Enactus” student team, and faculty members who successfully reached the summit of Komsomol Peak.
