Osh State University Rector Speaks at IV Eurasian Economic Forum

On June 26, the IV Eurasian Economic Forum commenced at the Minsk International Exhibition Center.

The event features a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, with heads of state participating under the theme "Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects." Over thirty thematic sessions are scheduled throughout the forum.

Representing Kyrgyzstan, the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, is taking part as a speaker. He delivered a presentation during the round table discussion titled “Labor Migration for Sustainable Economic Growth in the EAEU Member States – A Resource Opportunity.” His presentation, “The Role of Universities in Ensuring Sustainable Economic Growth in the EAEU Countries: In the Context of Labor Migration,” emphasized the contribution of higher education institutions in training skilled professionals, fostering interregional cooperation, and supporting effective migration policies.

The forum will address a broad range of topics including finance, industry, energy, technical regulation, veterinary standards, development of the EAEU internal market, trade, transport, customs procedures, public procurement, and statistics.

For reference, the previous forums were held in Kyrgyzstan (2022), Russia (2023), and Armenia (2024).
