Osh State University Hosts "Modern Teacher Model" Forum
Today, February 17, the forum "The Modern Teacher Model – at Osh State University" discussed the role of teachers in society, the transition to a 12-year education system, and the professional development of teachers.
The event was attended by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Head of the Department of Education of the city of Osh Tynchtyk Dosmuratov, teachers, and students.
The meeting addressed issues such as training teachers to meet modern requirements, the importance of quality education, and current problems in the field of education. The transition to a 12-year education system, which is being phased in across the country, was also discussed.
The forum featured presentations on the university's activities in transitioning to the new system and on ways to develop students' life skills. In addition, teachers who had completed advanced training courses at Osh State University were awarded.
