Over 50 OshSU Staff Receive Trade Union Awards
On October 19, more than 50 members of the university’s academic and teaching staff received awards in recognition of Social Protection and Trade Union Workers’ Day.
They were presented with the “Excellence in Trade Union Work” badge and Certificates of Honor from the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers. The awards recognized their contributions to the development of education, science, and university community activities, as well as their many years of dedicated service.
During the event, Absamat Sattarov, Chair of OshSU’s Trade Union Committee, spoke about the role of social protection and trade union workers in society. He emphasized that the work of education professionals is particularly important to the university’s development.
