Osh State University's Department of Pedagogy, part of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Physical Education, sponsored a final conference on pedagogical practice titled "University and school shape the future together."
Adylbek Batyraliev, Head of Pedagogical Practice, Chinara Gaparova, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Talantbek Matikeev, Director of Osh State University's Department of Industrial Practice, Gapyr Madaminov, Director of the Experimental Gymnasium №3 and Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic, principals of Osh schools, relevant heads of faculties for pedagogical practice, and students attended the conference.
On the initiative of the Department of Pedagogy's head, Gulmira Zhutanova, the Department of Pedagogy inked an agreement with 14 schools in Osh and the № 3 Experimental Gymnasium in the Batken region's Leilek district in September 2021. The agreement calls for the implementation of educational, methodological, educational, and research activities to prepare students for life, as well as vocational assistance, the strengthening of school-university links, and cooperative educational activity.
There were a number of scientific lectures and round tables held this year. Courses for moms were organized by schools and parents. Three instructors from S. Sharipov school-gymnasium enhanced their skills for the first time in the in-service training course "General Fundamentals of Pedagogy."
Participants heard the results of students' work on adaptive practice and profile-based practice at the conference. They reviewed the university's partnership with the school, as well as the implementation and assignment of internships for students, and answered questions. Students that engaged actively were given prizes.
Gapyr Madaminov, Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the importance of regular cooperation between schools and universities, and suggested that Gulmira Zhutanova's initiative, which aims to strengthen and improve relations between universities and schools on all issues covered by the agreement, be expanded to universities across the country.
